Easter is great holiday to make some adorable crafts with your little ones. This week, my boys and I made these 6 Simple Easter Crafts For Kids.
1. Easter Baskets
To make this super cute Easter basket, cut out egg shapes from different colored sheets of construction paper. Have your child glue the eggs onto a sheet of white paper. Next, have your child glue on a basket shaped piece of paper to the bottom of the white paper. Lastly, add the handle.
2. Hand Print Chick
I love hand print crafts and these adorable chicks are definitely one of my favorites. To make them, cut an oval shape out of yellow construction paper. Next, have your child glue on yellow tissue paper. To make the wings, trace your child’s hand onto yellow construction paper and cut out. Glue a hand print to each side of the yellow oval. Add two wiggly eyes, and an orange triangle for the beak.
3. Easter Egg
Do-A-Dot markers are the perfect thing to decorate paper Easter eggs with. To make these, simply cut an egg shape our of white construction paper and let your child stamp the egg with different colored markers.
4. Easter Bunny
This cute little bunny was so easy to make. Simply cut out the following shapes from construction paper: white circle for the head, 2 long white triangles for ears, 2 shorter pink triangles for ears, a pink triangle for the nose. Have your child glue the pieces onto a sheet of paper, in the appropriate places. Add two wiggly eyes, and have them draw on a smile and whiskers.
5. Easter Egg Wreath
To make these Easter Egg Wreathes, I found a great Easter egg coloring sheet online. Print out the sheet and have your child color in the Easter eggs. If they’re old enough, you can also let them cut the eggs out themselves. Next, have your child glue the eggs around the edge of a paper plate, after you’ve cut out the center of the plate.
6. Carrot Foot Prints
I LOVE these little carrots! To make them, just paint your child’s toes green and the rest of their foot orange. Next, stamp your child’s foot onto a sheet of white construction paper. Once the paint has dried, add some orange lines across the orange part of the carrot. Cut around the foot print and your done. So easy and oh so cute!
