Valentines Day Snack Ideas
Chocolate Covered Pretzels
To make these yummy chocolate covered pretzels, melt white chocolate chips on the stove top or in the microwave in 30 second intervals. Adding a little shortening or oil will make the consistency easier to work with. Once your chocolate is melted, simply dip your pretzels in and lay them on top of wax paper to cool. We also added some colorful sprinkles, and crushed freeze dried strawberry yogurt drops to some of them for a splash of Valentines Day color!
Valentines Day Chex Mix
To make this delicious Chex Mix, we used the following ingredients:
- 6 Cups of Rice Chex
- Mini Pretzels
- Strawberry Yogurt Covered Raisins
- Craisins
- 1 Cups of White Chocolate Chips
- Valentines M&Ms
- Sprinkles
First, melt your chocolate chips on the stove top or in the microwave in 30 second intervals. Add a little shortening or oil to thin out the chocolate. In a baking dish, combine the Chex, pretzels, yogurt covered raisins, and craisins. Next, drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of your mix. Gently stir to coat the entire mixture. Next, add the M&Ms and sprinkles. Let cool before serving.
Valentines Fruit Salad
Using a cookie cutter, I cut watermelon, cantaloupe, and honey dew melon into heart shapes. I then cut “V”s at the tops of the strawberries to make them heart shaped as well. I spread out all the colorful hearts onto my boys’ plates and served with Pick-Ease. A healthy and super tasty treat!
Valentines Popcorn
I got the idea to make Valentines Popcorn from The Hanging Spoon. Simply crush freeze dried strawberries and sprinkle over freshly popped popcorn. I used a freeze dried strawberry and banana mix. It was so good!
Valentines Rice Krispie Treats
By adding Valentines Sprinkles to the classic Rice Krispie Treats recipe, you can easily turn it into a special Valentines Day treat!
